1) What is Fiber Optic service?
Fiber Optic is one of the most modern internet access media and its use offers much higher data rates over relatively longer distances.
2) How can I connect to the service?
You can connect to the service by applying online via the website of the company - http://avirtel.az/, coming to our headquarters or regional representatives.
3) Which documents are required to connect to the service?
For individuals - ID card of the person to whose name the phone number is registered and of the person who came to conclude a contract; for legal entities – official data of the company, signature of official who will sign the contract and stamp of the company. Contract is concluded based on these documents.
4) How much is connection fee?
Connection to the service is 10 AZN.
5) How many days does it take to connect to the service?
Connection is carried out during 2 working days after the contract is concluded.
6) When do I have to pay for the service?
Payment for the first month is made before connection, for next months till the 3rd day of each month.
7) What are the ways to make payment for the service?
You can make payment for the service via internet, pay points, banks, customer services, dealer points and payment cards.
8) How can i contact with customer service agents (CSA)?
You can contact with CSAs through dialing direct 176 from Baku and all the mobile operators and 012176 from other regions of Azerbaijan, 24/7. You can also contact with CSAs appealing online via Avirtel’s website - http://avirtel.az/.
9) What are your payment points?
Subscriber can pay to Avirtel Office (50C M.Araz str., Narimanov dist., Baku), representations in the regions or via internet payment systems (Goldenpay, Azericard, Portmanat etc).
10) Do any discounts considered in case of prepayment?
Discounts are available during campaign periods. Follow our website - http://avirtel.az/.
11) What is Static IP?
A static IP address is a number that is assigned to a user by an Internet service provider to be its permanent address on the Internet. A dynamic IP address is used for the duration of that Internet session. Once the user disconnects from the Internet, their dynamic IP address goes back into the IP address pool so it can be assigned to another user. Even if the user reconnects immediately, odds are they will not be assigned the same IP address from the pool. This does not fit people working with statistic numbers and having installed security cameras. In contrast to Dynamic IP, address remains unchanged in Static IP.
12) How much does monthly fee of Static IP cost?
Monthly fee for Static IP is 5 AZN.
13) How can I change my tariff?
Subscriber can change tariff by coming to Avirtel Office, our regional representative or by appealing online. Subscriber’s balance should be replenished up to the amount corresponding with the new tariff.
14) What is my log in and password?
Log in is 7-digit number suggested by subscriber, password is indicated in the Subscriber’s contract.
15) What is meant by traffic?
Traffic means any kind of information that is sent and received. Traffic covers all the sent and received internet pages, photos, e-mails, data.
16) How can subscriber check his/her balance?
Subscriber can check his/her balance by Personal Cabinet on Avirtel website or calling 176 Hot Line.
17) I will not use internet for a while. Can I temporarily block internet?
Yes you can block internet by appealing online, to the headquarters or our regional representatives 1 month in advance.
18) How many months can I block internet for? How much does this process cost?
You can block internet maximum for 3 months during a year. It costs 3 AZN per month.
19) What should I do to reconnect temporarily blocked internet?
To reconnect internet it is enough to pay your monthly fee according to your tariff.
20) How to terminate subscriber contract concluded with Avirtel?
You must appeal to Avirtel Office or regional representation 1 month in advance to terminate subscriber contract concluded with Avirtel.

22) All the lights are on, but internet does not work. Internet is available in the modem, but not in my PC. What is the reason of the problem?
Problem may be related to you network card, web browser or other things. ISP does not bear responsibility for such kind of problems.
23) WIFI connection does not work. What is the problem related to?
You have to check connection of WIFI device. Button on the WIFI device or operational system itself may be switched off. If you are sure about connection of wireless device, then you must search wireless in the system. Finding your modem in the list of search results, you should connect to it. If it asks for a password, enter your security password. If you have problems with your password, please contact us.
24) I changed my modem and reinstalled, but there is no internet sygnal.
In such a case, old MAC must be updated and new one assigned to the modem.
25) How can I learn my IP address?
You can learn your IP address from interface of modem.
